Seven passengers were killed and 11 others injured after a private bus overturned and plunged onto a lower road in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district on Saturday morning, police said. The accident occurred at around 7:15 a.m. on August 8, 2026, near Chalunj Mor, a curve on the Bairagarh-Tissa road. The bus was travelling from Bairagarh towards Chamba when the accident took place. Bus Plunges Onto Lower Road According to police, the bus overturned near the curve before falling onto a road below. The impact left several passengers injured, while seven people lost their lives in the accident. Emergency teams and local authorities responded to the scene following the crash, with the injured taken for medical treatment.
